Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso drop new song featuring Jack Black

Date:

Argentine duo Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso released their latest song Goo Goo Ga Ga, on Thursday, a collaboration with Hollywood actor and Grammy-winning musician Jack Black.  The song is part of their new album Free Spirits, which is scheduled for release on March 19. The song’s video unfolds inside the fictional Free Spirits Wellness Center, a surreal, pseudo-scientific retreat devoted to mental and emotional renewal. In the clip, Black emerges dramatically from a futuristic cryogenic capsule surrounded by smoke, introducing the Argentine duo as part of a bizarre treatment dubbed “Cryo-Cerebral Rebirth.”  The trio appear wearing pajama-like jumpsuits and wired headgear with electrodes, as if participating in an experimental therapy session. The video blends the duo’s irreverent humor with sci-fi aesthetics and wellness-culture satire, presenting the collaboration as a playful “rebirth” narrative tied to their new album Free Spirits. The “Free Spirits” concept The new song and video is part of the musicians’ new artistic concept “Free Spirits”. In this narrative, their new phase is centered on creative rebirth, and follows a turbulent period marked by excess and burnout after a successful album and their subsequent breakthrough, which earned them  five Latin Grammy Awards. That streak ultimately led them to cancel the release of their album Top of the Hills. To launch this new chapter, they released the single “Hasta Jesús tuvo un mal día” (Even Jesus Had a Bad Day) alongside Sting, last February. As part of that “search for renewal.” the former frontman of The Police appears as a key figure for the Argentine musicians. In the storyline surrounding their new phase, the British artist introduced them to the Free Spirits Wellness Center, a fictional facility focused on mental and emotional well-being. The song’s video shows the three engaging in a “conscious listening” session.  At the wellness center, the duo supposedly follow a 12-step healing program designed to help them confront personal challenges that had put their career at risk. Their new album will reflect the 12 challenges the duo faced during their recovery process. With information from Ámbito
