Get Out!: Art circuits, football ghosts, and cinematic nightmares

Date:

Contemporary art takes over Buenos Aires this week as NODO returns with more than 65 galleries participating in a citywide circuit stretching from La Boca to Recoleta. Elsewhere, football history unfolds among cemetery monuments, Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver celebrates its 50th anniversary on the big screen, and horror auteur Ari Aster arrives for a festival dedicated to film nightmares.  Add literary street parties, seafood pop-ups, tango celebrations, and major concerts, and you’ve got a packed week ahead — as always, the Herald’s got you covered.  NODO Art Circuit June 4 to 665 galleries across Buenos AiresFree More than 65 contemporary art galleries will open their doors to the public this weekend across Buenos Aires as part of NODO, a three-day art circuit through Retiro, San Telmo, La Boca and Recoleta, featuring some of the finest local artists working today.
