Highlights include an exhibition depicting the struggle for democracy at the ex-ESMA, a massive rock marathon by the river, a good-old late-night dance party, and a nationwide festival bringing the best of Spanish tapas to your plate. Local highlights include Madrid-style huevos rotos at Casa Luis, fainá with smoked eggplant at Antonio D, and shrimp croquettes at Laserio. Each tapa is paired with beer, vermouth, wine, or soda to complete the experience. For those outside the capital, the Tapeando festival is going national, reaching 53 restaurants across the country. Foodies can enjoy contemporary and classic Spanish bites in major hubs, ensuring the gastronomic journey is accessible far beyond the city limits. Labor resistance & democracy exhibition  Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Casa Nuestros Hijos – Space of Memory ex-ESMA (Av. del Libertador 8151), First floor Organized by the Human Rights Secretary of the General Confederation of Labor in collaboration with Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, this powerful exhibition explores the role of organized labor during the dictatorship. The exhibition features four rooms filled with over 70 hours of interviews, 2,000 documents, and personal effects belonging to disappeared union members. You can also make the most of the opportunity to visit the permanent exhibition of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo in the same building. Rock festival in the outskirts of Buenos Aires April 3-4Municipal AmphitheaterAdmission AR$120,000 each day Baradero, one of the oldest towns in Buenos Aires, is hosting a new edition of the now classic Rock en Baradero, a two-day marathon of many popular bands of Argentine rock on the banks of the Baradero River, 138 km from the nation’s capital. Artists include Babasónicos, Las Pelotas, El Plan de la Mariposa, El Kuelgue, Kapanga, Marilina Bertoldi, Turf, Guasones, and more. OCIO party at Frere  April 4, midnight Olleros 1775 OCIO returns to Buenos Aires for its first 2026 dance party, featuring Washington D.C.-based vinyl collector Martino Boga. He is joined by It Guys, a project by Tobi and Ian Puchetti focusing on 90s house hardware and sampling. Resident DJ Laulo will open the night.
