Milei to speak in Miami business forum alongside Trump and Messi

President Javier Milei will embark on a short international trip that will take him to the United States and Bolivia. On Thursday, he is set to appear at a business forum in Miami alongside U.S. President Donald Trump and sports stars Lionel Messi, Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal. On Friday, Milei will travel to Bolivia, where he is expected to attend the inauguration of President-elect Rodrigo Paz Pereira on Saturday. He will be back in Buenos Aires later that day. The American Business Forum (ABF) began in Miami on Wednesday, with Trump and Messi expected to speak over the course of the afternoon. Milei will speak on Thursday at 3:45 p.m. EST (1:45 p.m. Argentina time). Other high-profile figures that will be present at the event include Venezuelan opposition leader and Peace Nobel Prize laureate Mara Corina Machado, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, and JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon.  What is the American Business Forum Hosted annually since 2017, the ABF self-describes itself as the global leadership summit of the world. It aims to bring together leaders from various sectors, including politics, technology, sports and social development. This is the first time the forum will take place in Miami. Previous events were held in Uruguay, home of ABF founder and businessman Ignacio Gonzlez Castro. It is also the first time that the majority of high-profile political leaders appearing are distinctly right-wing or conservative. In previous occasions, speakers had been mostly from the region and from varied ideological backgrounds. Mileis agenda Milei will also participate in other events while in the U.S., including a dinner gala from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Florida and a Council of the Americas panel in New York about investment opportunities in Argentina. On Tuesday, Milei received copy of the credentials of six new ambassadors to Argentina alongside Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno. The new ambassadors are Peter Lamelas (United States), Hubert Raymond Cooreman (Belgium), Erik Hoeg (European Union), David Seldon Cairns (United Kingdom), Gerhard Mayer (Austria), and Andrea Semadeni (Switzerland).
